Awesome Grain Free Waffles

Crispy on the outside, soft and "bread-y" on the inside these awesome Grain Free Waffles are perfect for any application you can dream of! Syrup and butter or savory sandwich, they know no bounds. Perfectly Grain free and dairy optional.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 cups tapioca flour
  • 4 tbsp coconut flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup avocado oil or melted coconut oil
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2` cups milk (I use raw cow milk but almond, coconut etc will work)

Instructions

  1. Whisk the first 5 ingredients together in a medium bowl.

  2. Next separate the eggs putting the whites in another medium bowl and the yolks into the dry ingredients.

  3. Add the last three ingredients to the dry ingredients and yolks. Mix thoroughly.

  4. Then whip the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold them into the rest of the batter until there are just a few streaks of white throughout.

  5. Oil and preheat your waffle iron. Once preheated add a ladle full or about a half cup of batter to the iron.

  6. Cook until browned on each side the remove a plate. Repeat until all the batter is used up!

  7. Enjoy warm and buttery!
